Description

A U.K. based organization promoting and enhancing professionalism and the value of business intelligence within the health care industry. Membership includes approximately 40 corporate members, 65 research companies and 35 individuals.

The aims of the organization are as follows:

• To encourage all individuals and organizations engaged in healthcare business intelligence to participate in the Association.
• Training: to provide an educational program of practical applications and techniques in business intelligence.
• Industry Issues: to provide a forum for the discussion and sharing of ideas to advance and improve business intelligence performance.
• To raise awareness and understanding of issues affecting the industry.
• To promote best practice in business intelligence, emphasising its contribution to industry progress.
• To maintain communication and build relationships with other professional bodies.

 BHBIA offer two educational seminars per year; an Annual Conference (usually in March/April) and BHBIA Training Courses for business intelligence personnel.
