Hi Sara,
Qualitative and quantitative are the two types of research that can be conducted in the concept & product testing arena. Depending on the methodology or the research design that you are using, the analyses possible will vary. The possibilities of running analyses can only be limited by the research methodology and nothing else.
To cite an example, if you are using a sequential monadic design for product testing, then you can look at both monadic and combined ratings and also find out forced preference....
