- Our long established privately-held custom full service boutique marketing research company is seeking experienced Director of Client Development with established client contacts.
We are looking for a highly motivated marketing research Director of Client Development with a proven record in business development. Truly outstanding candidates will be interested in the potential for an ownership equity stake in the company.
The Director of Client Development will be responsible for generating revenue in order to drive company growth. Job success requires in depth industry experience and contacts coupled with self-motivation, an innate drive to succeed and a passion for developing new business. The Director of Client Development will focus on NEW business development – this is not a role dedicated to managing existing client accounts.
The Director of Client Development will be responsible for all aspects of sales and client development, working on their own initiatives, generating leads, and closing business. Job responsibilities will include lead generation, developing and presenting pitches, closing deals, proposal development, client service management, developing marketing materials, and managing and following-up on new business leads.
- Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 - 10 years experience selling marketing research with proven track record of new business development.
Strong and extensive background in selling analytical market research techniques.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Goal oriented, well organized and able to work in a fast paced, team oriented, self-supported environment.
Well versed in Microsoft Office applications, specifically PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
