Responsibilities and Expectations
Use and stay abreast of sophisticated analytical techniques and practical applications
Translate and simply communicate complex approaches for non-technical audiences
Play a key role in, or lead, internal and external advanced analysis meetings
Contribute to and take lead on cross-company initiatives
Effectively communicate with Insights Associates, Senior Insights Associates, peers, and other senior staff Takes advantage of training and development opportunities including new techniques and software tools that emerge in the field
Adhere to processes and best practices
Successfully completes peer reviews on time as requested
Conduct higher-level primary research analytics
Partner with clients, Practice Leaders and other Client Services team member to successfully contribute to end-to-end client/project delivery alignment leading to valuable insights, high client satisfaction, and quality project deliverables
Anticipate and identify project problems and finds solutions independently Exhibit leadership in training, developing, and mentoring across the organization
Market Research – Analytics Manager
This is a remote position with expectation of occasional travel to the home office in Cleveland, OH. This position supports account managers and project managers in the development and execution of advanced analytics for external clients in various industries.
What You Will Do:
• Provide consultation on methodology, questionnaire development, sampling plan, data weighting, and analysis techniques to internal stakeholders and clients – on a variety of custom market research programs.
· Communicate findings and their implications to key stakeholders, including written reports and presentations.
· Design and execute analytical plans related to quantitative market research projects, including customer satisfaction, product optimization, consumer segmentation and other topics as needed.
• Apply a broad range of market research analytics methods, including key driver analysis, multiple regression, logistic regression, relative importance models, market segmentation methods (e.g., cluster analysis), factor analysis, TURF, MaxDiff, Conjoint analysis.
• Maintain current on relevant analytical approaches and applications.
• Conduct training in data analytics and develop specific training presentations for other team members and/or clients.
Your Background:
• 5-7 years of experience in data analytics applied for market research.
• Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Marketing Analytics or relevant area
• Experience working at a market research supplier and/or corporate research user
preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills, including data visualization.
• Ability to translate complex concepts and methodologies into easily understood language
• Must have strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Must be detail-oriented with the ability to deliver high quality, accurate work.
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
• Experience with SPSS and R preferred.
