This position is an excellent entry-level opportunity to gain experience and responsibility. The TBR environment provides broad exposure to high-tech executives as well as the opportunity for press attribution. Vendor coverage for this research analyst intern position includes companies in the computer hardware, software, services and telecommunications industries.
The research analyst intern will be responsible for qualitative and quantitative analysis of companies in the computing/IT industry on an ongoing basis. This position will involve working with, growing and learning under the guidance of TBR analysts. The final products are written analytical reports for each company covered within our syndicated service. The research analyst intern will also learn to be responsible for developing working relationships with covered company executives and analyst relations personnel, key personnel in our largely Fortune 500 client base, the press, and PR firms. These close relationships are the key to differentiation in our business and help lead to valuable consulting engagements with many of our clients.

The successful candidate must possess:
• Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills, including strong mathematical skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, as well as experience developing effective executive reports and presentations
• The ability to discern and analyze the critical elements of large sets of information
• The ability to communicate this analysis to clients in verbal, written, and/or spreadsheet formats
• Persistence, tenacity, ability to overcome obstacles, and a desire to improve skills and achieve goals
• The ability to understand business implications with a grasp of market economics/dynamics to deliver predictions and analyses
• The ability to work within a team structure. This requires the ability to learn from those around you as well as the ability to share experiences.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Should have work authorization to work for any employer
