Looking for a Sales Director to manage our North America sales operations. Duties would include planning and evaluating the activities of a sales department, developing, and implementing sales strategies and establishing sales policies and procedures.  This is for a new software product aimed toward the Market Research Industry.

-        Developing strategies for products and services to meet targets

-        Establishing sales objectives by analyzing markets and projecting sales volumes

-        Maintaining sales volume by tracking key performance indicators such as economic indicators

-        Maintaining healthy relationships with new and existing clients, and building a strong customer base

-        Keeping up-to-date with developments, trends, and advancements related to sales and marketing

-        collaborate with managers, executives and other directors.

  •        Attending conferences, industry events etc.  

    Skills and qualifications

    Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. A successful candidate needs to have strong leadership skills and qualifications in marketing, communication or related fields. Other skills and qualifications include:

    -        Time management skills to multitask and prioritize 

    -        Excellent written and oral communication, and presentation skills

    -        Excellent computer skills and the ability to use company-specific software

    -        Teamwork and active listening skills

    -        Business development skills to analyze an organization’s performance and identify opportunities

    Experience requirements

    At least 5 years of work experience in sales within Market Research , Consumer Insights, Business Consulting, Market Research Sampling / Fieldwork or related fields to perform their duties and responsibilities. A qualified candidate also collaborate with managers, executives and other directors. Should have experience developing strategies and promoting products or services.

    Experience selling software as a service (SaaS) would be a plus.

    Education and training

    -        University degree in marketing, journalism, public relations, communications, or a related field would be a plus.

    -        An applicant with a master’s degree in business administration or a doctorate in marketing or related disciplines would be a plus
