The Survey Specialist is responsible for working with business unit representatives to develop survey projects that provide critical insight into the Clayton Team Member Experience. With direction from their manager, they will develop an internal survey protocol and be responsible for writing and programming surveys, field management, analysis and reporting. Day-to-day responsibilities are focused on using rigorous quantitative research methodologies to translate findings and information into meaningful insights that guide strategic decisions and evolve the business. The Survey Specialist may assist on Consumer Insights projects as time allows.

Develop/Analyze Surveys

Use rigorous survey methodologies to develop and evolve internal surveys
Develop fielding plans including managing distribution lists and tracking progress in the field
Serve as a consultant/point-person for internal Qualtrics users; uphold best practices





Reporting

Objectively represent the voice of Team Members (survey respondents)
Work independently to establish and maintain routine reports and all relevant research archives
Ensure that analysis/reports are accurate and timely
Internal/External Collaboration

Work with Insights Manager and business unit representatives to design, execute, analyze and report relevant insights across the organization in meetings, strategy sessions, emails and presentations
Collaborate with peers Business Analyst or TMX roles to exchange relevant information and insights
Build mutually beneficial relationships with external research partners (Qualtrics) and relevant industry organizations

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Knowledge of quantitative research methodologies including survey design, survey programming, sample design, monitoring surveys in the field, data management, analysis and storytelling
Working knowledge of survey platforms, specifically Qualtrics; Qualtrics certification a plus
Experience with Tableau and SPSS
Ability to synthesize primary and secondary research to "tell a story" with action-oriented implications
Comfort with qualitative research methodologies including project design, execution and analysis and reporting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
3 years relevant business experience at a manufacturer, ad agency, market research firm or equivalent
Interest in healthy company culture and modern HR philosophy
Analytical thinker with ability to see detail, but also tell bigger story
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to build and maintain trusted partnerships with internal peers and project stakeholders
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate in team settings
Requirement/Qualifications:

Education : Bachelor’s degree in a related field: market research, business/marketing analytics, anthropology
Years of Related Experience: Minimum 3 required; Experience in a similar company, manufacturer, ad agency, market research firm preferred
Licenses/Certifications : Qualtrics Platform Essentials (Level 1)
