Quirk’s is happy to announce that we are working with the Marketing Research Association (MRA) and the Market Research Executive Board program of the Corporate Executive Board Company (CEB) to produce a new conference aimed at corporate marketing researchers and executives as well as the research providers who support them.

The Corporate Researchers Conference (CRC) will be held September 21-23, 2011, at the Fairmont Chicago, Millennium Park Hotel. The conference will include innovative programming, speakers and events designed for corporate research practitioners, directors and executives supported by research and related services providers. Programming specifics will be announced shortly.

“MRA is honored and delighted to team with industry leaders Quirk’s and CEB to produce the new Corporate Researchers Conference,” said MRA CEO David W. Almy. “The CRC represents an extraordinary opportunity for corporate researchers, executives and marketing research providers to gather in a unique collaborative environment supported by three sponsors committed solely to the success of the marketing research profession.” The CRC will serve as MRA’s 2011 fall conference.

“The new Corporate Researchers Conference complements Quirk’s longstanding editorial direction and we’re very excited to team with MRA and CEB,” said Quirk’s President and Publisher Steve Quirk. “The CRC is going to bring a fresh, interactive perspective to progressive corporate researchers. The focus on client-side researchers while acknowledging the contributions of research providers is a solid win-win.”

“CEB shares Quirk’s and MRA’s enthusiasm for this exciting new event,” said Market Research Executive Board (MREB) Managing Director Scott Christofferson. “Our MREB clients tell us about a challenging business environment that requires changing research strategies, tactics and management. The CRC will directly address these issues.”

Further information on the conference will be available at www.mra-net.org/crc or by contacting Tara Cantore at tcantore@mra-net.org or 860-682-1000. Full conference details will be available April 25.
