Marketing researchers – do you feel like your skills are in demand?
According to a recent press release from staffing firm The Creative Group, the outlook for the second half of 2017 will remain steady for creative talent. Of the advertising and marketing executives surveyed, 9 percent said they plan to expand their teams, while 64 percent of respondents said they anticipate maintaining staff levels and hiring primarily to fill vacated roles.
But what positions will they be hiring for? Of the executives surveyed who indicated that they will add to their team, account services (24 percent), mobile design/development (21 percent) and marketing research (21 percent) topped the list.
The press release also noted that one of the biggest challenges executives are having is finding creative professionals, and many (45 percent) are now more willing to look outside of their city/state to find candidates. So, if you are searching for a new job, don’t hesitate to look outside of your local market.
