Research company earnings/financial news 

In first-quarter 2022 financial results, researcher Kantar has reported a gross revenue increase of 6% to $911 million and a gross margin increase of 6% to $621 million.

Toluna’s partnership with the Red Cross to raise money for Ukraine resulted in 66,000 individual donations and €30,000 in total donations. 

Customer insights company Knit has raised $3.55 million in an oversubscribed seed round of funding. 

Insight consultancy Basis has reported a gross revenue growth of 20%, an organic growth of 21% within its consumer/B2B division, 13% in its health division and 420% in its new social division. It also reported a 33% increase in staff employment.

Indonesia-based consumer insights platform Populix has raised $7.7 million in its Series A round of funding. 

Cultural intelligence company Collage Group has raised $25 million in growth capital.
