Account Executive
MMR Research Associates | Atlanta, GA, US
Salary: $130,000–$150,000
Base salary + personal annual bonus commensurate
About the Role
MMR seeks an experienced Account Executive to manage and grow key client relationships. In this role, you'll deepen partnerships with existing clients, drive account revenue growth, and ensure client satisfaction through a consultative, solutions-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor who understands each client’s evolving needs.
• Develop and deliver proposals that demonstrate MMR’s ability to address client challenges.
• Lead and remain actively engaged in project execution and client communications across diverse research methodologies, collaborating closely with Client Service Directors (CSDs) and internal operations teams.
• Support client transitions, strengthening relationships with new stakeholders as teams change.
• Identify and cultivate opportunities for relationship and revenue growth within existing accounts.
Key Duties
• Prepare thoughtful, creative proposals in response to client requests.
• Achieve business development goals by managing and expanding existing accounts.
• Deliver recommendations and insights that inform client decision-making.
• Meet gross profit targets in alignment with MMR's annual objectives.
• While not required, new business development is strongly desired.
Qualifications
• Minimum 6–8 years of marketing research experience (ideally a mix of client- and supplier-side).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field (advanced degree preferred).
• Solid knowledge of research principles, methodologies, and statistical modeling.• Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
• Proven ability to manage client accounts and achieve revenue goals.
• A strong desire to grow in the role.
• Ability to travel up to 25%
