• Apply your analytic capabilities and PowerPoint skills to quickly and accurately create visually appealing charts and tables to convey research findings.
• Test questionnaire programming logic, to ensure research participants receive appropriate questions based on their responses.
• Review verbatims (open-ended responses in surveys) and code the data for analysis.
• Interact occasionally with clients and help respond to periodic client requests.
• Have many opportunities over time to learn more advanced skills, including taking the lead on questionnaire and report-writing, and potentially moderating in-depth interviews, online discussion forums, and focus groups.

Required Qualifications
• Strong quantitative skills and comfort with numbers.
• Critical thinker who asks questions, thinks ahead, and has strong problem-solving skills.
• Very strong attention to detail and highly accurate proofing skills; self-motivated to ensure work is completed correctly.
• Able to quickly and accurately create visually appealing charts and tables using PowerPoint.

Not required – but highly valued…
• Any prior research experience (e.g., classes in college, an internship).
• Completed coursework in statistics.
• Interest in potentially learning to program data tables and/or surveys (though this position is not intended to be programming-intensive).
• Completion of any courses in PowerPoint and/or Excel.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel (e.g., pivot tables, vlookups, macros, advanced formulas).

This is a virtual position to be filled in the U.S. with a schedule based on East Coast hours.

*Quantitative market research generally involves collecting and statistically analyzing large amounts of data from a representative group of people to draw conclusions about the proportion of people that feel a certain way, are likely to do something, etc.

**Qualitative research typically consists of collecting data from a small group through one-on-one interviews/group discussions to explore and describe “why” people feel the way they do about a particular experience or topic.
