Business Development Executive

$70K - $80K plus commission on sales
Position Summary: American Directions Research Group (ADRG) works with numerous US companies and organizations that use our capabilities to support market research, including telephone and online data collection, survey programming, and data processing among others. The Business Development Executive is primarily responsible for increasing revenues of ADRG by identifying, soliciting and securing work from individuals, companies and organizations which require ADRG services. In some cases, this may require orchestration of a “teaming arrangement” with other firms or subject matter experts.
Responsibilities
- Develop profiles of targeted customer prospects and formulate customer contact strategies
- Cultivate ongoing relationships with qualified prospects
- Track progress of business development efforts via CRM system and other reports
- Support Client Services department as requested. This will generally involve clarification of pricing and/or project execution details
- Maintain familiarity with all products and services offered by ADRG, including methods of pricing and estimating project
- Conduct other activities as directed by the Chief Marketing Officer
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of successful experience in market research-related sales
- Oral, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Drive, Outlook)
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and can work independently as well as with a team
- Ability to make sound decisions quickly in a fluid work environment
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Willingness to commit, to learn new skills, and to develop a strong, well-informed Team
- Positive and “Can-Do” attitude
Qualifications:
- Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
- Proven track record in sales, business development and winning new business.
- Strong in client connection and client services
- Strong responsibility, self-motivated, able to work under high pressure
- Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking, and presentation skills
- Solid knowledge of different sales techniques and pipeline management
- Critical thinking, decision-making and problem-solving skills
- BS or BA in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field
Pay Rate:
- $70,000 to $80,000 per year
- Variable compensation plan (commission) on booked sales
- The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, and credentials
