We are adding an exciting data services position serving one of Curion’s top personal care accounts. The Data Analyst is responsible for overseeing and working on data-related tasks for research projects including coordination and execution of all survey and data-related project deliverables. A successful Data Analyst will have stellar project management skills, a strong math aptitude, and key analytical and problem-solving skills. This individual will be the primary contact for all data services work for one of Curion’s top personal care accounts.
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Manage project and data requests against client-provided specifications (data cleaning and checking, data validations, data tables, coding, etc.)
Work directly with internal clients and programmers on high-complexity projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Ensure end-to-end project data deliverables are aligned with operational excellence standards, leading to high client satisfaction
Work with project management and data services group to develop solutions for special project requirements/challenges
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field OR equivalent industry experience is required
3-5 years of relevant experience in data analytics, and market research
Working knowledge of data processing and statistical analysis tools; R, SPSS and WinCross experience a plus
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including skills such as formatting, pivot tables, and creating complicated formulas
Solid understanding of market research methods; personal care field is a plus
Able to effectively balance multiple tasks while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional attention to detail, comfortable working with large data sets, and commitment to accuracy and integrity of information
Works well in a team environment but should be able to work individually with minimal supervision
Strong desire to proactively identify gaps and improve the status quo
