The Opportunity
NRG is seeking a Data Processing Director or Manager to join our quickly growing Data Processing team. In this role, you will be expected to have a high degree of comfort in working in a technical environment as well as a thorough understanding of market research data. You’ll have the opportunity to lead a team which creates deliverables for internal and external clients using various market research software packages.
The Role
-Lead and manage a team responsible for delivering high quality and timely data to internal project teams
-Responsible for driving continuous improvement of data processing processes and establishing best practices for the team
-Improve and streamline existing procedures by generating new ideas to improve team processes and operations and identifying inefficiencies/bottlenecks
-Develop, test, and implement new approaches and functions, both project-specific and for overall processes
-Collaborate with the IT development and Tableau teams and recommend out of the box best solutions
-Support ongoing team knowledge management and help maintain and develop the team’s task management system
-Develop internal client service culture by building strong and collaborative relationships with peers and internal project teams
-Collaborate with our offshore partners to augment the capabilities of the US Data Processing team

Qualifications
-10+ years of experience in Data Processing/Tabbing role in the Market Research industry
-Proficient with data tabulation software such as Uncle, Q, Dimensions, WinCross, Quantum, CFMC, Merlin
-Proficiency in Excel, VBA, and PowerBI
-Working knowledge of SPSS
-Experience with programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, R, Python) a plus

Position Type
This is a full-time, exempt position.
Work Environment
NRG provides flexible work options – employees will be given the choice to work remotely, work out of a designated office (Playa Vista or New York) or a hybrid of the two. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
