This role is part of the broader Data Visualization and Analytics Team, with responsibilities spanning a variety of tasks to meet the specifications of the company's diverse clientele and project designs.
Displayr is one of the primary tools we use to build dashboards and automated reporting solutions for our clients, and we pride ourselves in getting the most out of the platform for our clients. This role is centered on that platform – we need someone who is ready to build and maintain client-facing dashboards in Displayr shortly after being hired. A strong understanding of the market research process – including how survey data is collected, processed, and analyzed – is also essential to succeed in this role.
Position Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and enhance client-facing dashboards and reporting solutions in Displayr -- ensuring accuracy, usability, and visual clarity
• Manage all aspects of data processing based on specific client requirements, including cleaning, formatting, and structuring survey data for analysis and reporting
• Work with our programming and project management teams to ensure that data specifications have been met and deliverables align with client expectations
• Advise clients on data processing, visualization, analytics, and reporting options, leveraging your knowledge of survey data and the market research process
• Identify process improvements and solutions to continuously elevate the quality of client service, deliverables, and innovation
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned
Required
At a minimum, the candidate must have the following skills and qualifications:
· Demonstrated proficiency in Displayr – candidates should be comfortable building dashboards and working with data sets within the platform. Ideally, this experience goes beyond Displayr-based GUIs, incorporating custom R-based solutions where necessary
o NOTE: In the absence of direct Displayr expertise, candidates with strong proficiency in Q Research Software and demonstrated data visualization experience through other tools may also be considered
· At least 2 years of relevant market research experience, or a Master’s Degree in Market Research, Statistics, Decision Science, Quantitative Social Science, or a related field
· Familiarity with the market research process, including survey design, data collection, data processing, and how crosstab/banner tables work
· An openness to and embrace of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to streamline processes and augment capabilities
· Excellent math skills
· Excellent attention to detail
· The ability to prioritize and juggle concurrent projects/tasks to meet deadlines
Preferred / Nice to Have
The ideal candidate would also bring some of the following:
• Experience with additional visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Forsta, or similar platforms
• Familiarity with analytics techniques common in market research, such as MaxDiff, choice modeling, TURF analysis and Key Driver Analysis
• Experience coding in R, JavaScript, VBA, or Python
• Working knowledge of SPSS, Sawtooth, or other MR-specific software
• Experience designing and building dashboards beyond Displayr (e.g., in Power BI or Tableau)
• Hands-on experience applying AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT/Codex, Claude, Copilot, etc.) to market research workflows – such as automating data processing, generating code, building apps, or accelerating reporting and analysis
• An understanding of design principles – such as layout, visual hierarchy, and effective use of color – particularly as they apply to market research dashboards and reports
