What You Will Do
- Project manage a wide variety of research studies across sectors in the financial services industry
- Support senior leaders on research strategy and own the day-to-day execution that brings each study to life
- Interact regularly with clients at leading financial services firms, ensuring projects run smoothly and deliverables meet their needs
Job Responsibilities
- Project manage marketing research studies through all phases of execution (e.g., survey creation and programming, field management, data cleaning, crosstab setup, data analysis, reporting), ensuring timely delivery of high quality work at every step
- Manage vendor relationships, e.g., sample providers, recruiters, programmers
- Translate the research approach defined by senior leadership into detailed study plans, questionnaires, discussion guides, and field specifications
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to uncover trends and actionable insights
- Build clear, accurate, well-crafted deliverables under the direction of senior leadership
Characteristics of the Ideal Candidate
- Proven project management skills with hands-on experience leading every phase of a marketing research study
- Keen attention to detail with an ability to produce accurate, polished work
- Exceptional written communication abilities (polished and professional with accurate grammar, punctuation, syntax)
- Outstanding interpersonal skills: ability to build relationships both internally and externally
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Intellectually curious with a passion for learning
- Skilled at managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong team player, yet independently driven
- Dedication to delivering an outstanding client experience
- Likes to have fun, but doesn’t shy away from heavy intellectual lifting
- Comfortable and effective working in a fully remote environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 5-10 years of hands-on experience executing quantitative and qualitative research projects end-to-end
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word; experienced in secondary online research
- Financial services industry experience strongly preferred
