We are currently seeking a Market Research Director to lead a project team in executing market research projects, using a wide range of quantitative and qualitative methodologies.  Qualified candidates will have experience in questionnaire design, survey programming, data collection, data processing, analysis, and reporting. 

The Market Research Director will also be instrumental in developing strong client and vendor relationships, and must have strong skills in leadership, communications, analysis, and insights identification. 

Breakthrough Research is a ‘Virtual First’ company, so this position will be remote.  We will consider candidates nationwide, however, candidates in the Los Angeles area are preferred.  If you are not west coast based, you must be willing to work west coast business hours.  The pay range for this role is $115k - $140k, depending on experience.

Qualifications:

- BA and/or MA in a related field

- Minimum 8 years of previous market research experience

- Broad understanding of research methodologies and principles, including quantitative and qualitative approaches

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Entrepreneurial attitude and desire to learn and grow within the role

- Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word is required

- Ability to use SPSS and/or other statistical software packages is a plus

- Strong sense of design and/or experience with design software is a plus

- Some travel required
