Hiring: Project-Based Customer Journey Mapping Consultant (Freelance)

Location: Remote (U.S.-based preferred)

Engagement: 2 -  3 months per project

We’re seeking a Customer Journey Mapping Consultant to lead short-term, high-impact projects focused on deeply understanding and improving the end-to-end customer experience.

This is a freelance opportunity ideal for someone with strong qualitative and quantitative research skills who can uncover insights, visualize journeys, and influence cross-functional strategies with clarity and confidence. Potential to turn into a full time role.

🔍 Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth qualitative interviews, focus groups, and stakeholder workshops

Analyze quantitative data from surveys

Develop personas and map out customer touchpoints across the lifecycle

Visualize journeys, Identify friction points and opportunities for CX improvement

Present clear, actionable recommendations to marketing, product, and leadership teams

You’re a Fit If You Have:

10+ years of experience in customer journey mapping

CCXP Certification Required

Proven expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies

Strong storytelling ability—can turn data into engaging, strategic narratives

Experience working cross-functionally with product, design, and operations teams💼

Bonus Points ForExperience in B2C and/or B2B journey mapping projectsBackground in CPG, retail, tech strongly preferred
