Research Analyst

EurekaFacts, a rapidly growing social/market research and analysis firm located in Rockville, MD is currently hiring research analysts with qualitative and quantitative research experience, as well as superb writing skills. Projects include cognitive interviews, usability studies, focus groups, survey research, measure use and attitudes toward resources or organizations, measure employee or customer satisfaction, evaluate programs, among other activities.
Responsibilities include:
•Assisting in preparing and conducting cognitive interviews and responsible for recording interview outcomes
• Conducting data coding of information collected for reporting;
•Working with data sets, cleaning and running checks to spot errors, and generally preparing data for analysis;
•Assisting in preparing reports, such as summarizing information to be included in reports.
•Assisting with literature reviews, questionnaire writing;
•Candidates also will be working with usability testing software (Morae) or similar software programs to aid in note taking/ data coding.

Candidate qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of relevant research experience or a Master’s Degree plus 1 year of relevant experience, a degree in Social Sciences, degree in Psychology or Sociology preferred
• Experience in assisting/working on research projects
• Excellent listening, technical writing and analytical skills
• Ability to efficiently and accurately summarize verbal and non-verbal communication from research respondents.
• Great attention to detail
•Tech savvy & experience with Microsoft Office suit
• Ability to pass mandatory background check

Preferred:
•Experience with quantitative and/or qualitative data analysis
•Experience with data logging, coding and analysis software (Morae, NVivo, SPSS)
•Experience in social science research in the field of user experience/ usability, cognitive/experimental psychology, survey research, or educational research.
