Research Analyst

The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and curious Research Analyst to support the end-to-end execution of both quantitative and qualitative research projects. In this role, you will operate at the intersection of project management, research design, data quality, and insights storytelling. The ideal candidate is comfortable toggling between analytical work, operational execution, and synthesizing insights into meaningful narratives.

You will play a key role in ensuring that research is designed thoughtfully, executed smoothly, and delivered with clarity and accuracy.

Things You’ll Do

·         Overseeing day-to-day quantitative and qualitative research operations from kickoff through delivery

·         Managing project timelines, milestones, and vendor/partner coordination to ensure successful execution

·         Participating in research design including writing and/or co-writing questionnaires, discussion guides, screeners, and research materials

·         Assisting with analysis planning, including defining cuts, tab plans, KPIs, and coding approaches

·         Managing qualitative recruiting processes, including screening, scheduling, communication, and incentives

·         Coordinating and engaging in online research communities, discussion boards, and digital ethnography platforms

·         Overseeing the quality assurance process for survey programming, logic, links, and respondent experience

·         Reviewing data tabulations and deliverables for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with research objectives

·         Partnering with vendors and internal teams to troubleshoot sampling, programming, or data issues

·         Watching video content (e.g., interviews, focus groups, user sessions) to extract key themes, quotes, and stories

·         Summarizing qualitative findings into clear themes that reflect participant sentiment and behaviors

·         Supporting quantitative analysis in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, SPSS, Q, R, Tableau (or similar)

·         Creating reports and delivering synthesized insights through clean, compelling charts, visuals, and written narratives

Education and Experience Requirements

·         Four-year college degree in related major (business, sociology, psychology, political science, econ, math, statistics, etc.) preferred

·         1-2 years of supplier side marketing research experience

·         Knowledge and understanding of all stages of the qualitative and quantitative research process, methods, and analysis 

·         Ability to work cross-functionally and build effective relationships with teams

·         Ability to take on ownership and accountability over day-to-day projects tasks

·         Strong organizational and time management/prioritization skills

·         Ability to multi-task while maintaining strong attention to detail

·         Ability to work in creative and analytical environments

·         Clear, concise communication skills, in both written and oral form

·         Genuine interest in understanding consumer behavior and using research data to tell a compelling story

·         This is a data intensive job, so a love of numbers is a must!

·         Hands-on advanced knowledge of and proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SPSS
