The Role:
As a Research Manager, based in the state of the art consumer and sensory science research facility of one of MMR’s largest client, in Atlanta, USA, you will be the coordinator of client projects, leading from initial briefings to the delivery of valuable insights. Collaborate seamlessly with MMR teams and client contacts to craft innovative research designs and manage delivery that exceed expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Project Design and Management:
- Unveil client needs through interpreting and clarifying briefs and designing bespoke research.
- Craft compelling proposals, ensuring alignment with client visions.
- Captain project teams, delegating tasks for flawless execution.
- Shape questionnaires, orchestrate scheduling, and derive meaningful insights from data.
- Transform data into compelling reports and presentations, delivering actionable recommendations using story telling
- Partnership Management:
- Serve as the bridge between MMR teams and our client contacts, ensuring harmonious collaboration.
- Foster team compliance with client requirements, setting the stage for excellence and continuous improvement
- Champion a culture of efficiency and innovation, orchestrating monthly sessions for continuous enhancement and leveraging the state of the art tech available in the facility
- Business Development and Financial Mastery:
- Illuminate new business opportunities, transcending client expectations.
- Navigate financial landscapes to meet revenue goals, while nurturing and overseeing your talented team.
- Balance cost control, ensuring clients are promptly invoiced for their research investments.
- Client Service and SOPs:
- Uphold the gold standard in client service, recommending and implementing continuous improvements.
- Cultivate a vibrant working environment that resonates positively with both colleagues and clients.
Requirements
- Energy and enthusiasm with a willingness to get involved.
- Strong passion for consumer and sensory research and innovation in Food, Beverage, Household, or Personal Care.
- Solution focused and enjoy solving challenges
- Strong communication skills (fluent in written/spoken English is essential).
- Love to collaborate and work as a team but can work independently too.
- Ability to write engaging story-led presentations and present with gravitas.
- Experience leading Ad Hoc market research projects in the CPG space.
