Senior Manager of Innovation Insights

The Senior Manager of Innovation Insights helps to identify short and long term innovation pipeline opportunities, emerging trends, and insights at all stages of innovation. The Senior Manager is responsible for delivering macro level trends and insights while developing foresights for scenario development and future planning. The Senior Manager will closely partner to the appropriate business unit (residential or commercial) and provide insight and recommendations directly to the leadership of that business to influence, inform and support decision making and strategy development. The Senior Manager is responsible for the daily management of external vendors, associated research budget & methodologies, initiating & reviewing fieldwork, determining analytic plans, and generating final reports/presentations to commercialize the intelligence. This is a key role within the Corporate Innovation team, whose mission is to help identify future growth and disruption opportunities.
Translate insight needs into learning plans, set scope, define strategy and use the appropriate methods (qualitative, quantitative or both) to address consumer or marketplace information needs
Distill research findings into clear, compelling and cohesive narratives, data visualizations and/ or infographics.
Lead cross-collaboration on market research, advanced analytics initiatives, stay informed on market insight advances and help educate and build enterprise capabilities.
Effectively communicate insights to the right audience (brand/ marketing, sales, channel, category management, dealers/retailers) in a way that enables the person to drive strategy and make impactful business decisions
Model and promote a consumer/customer-centric mentality throughout the organization through active immersion, communication and sharing of insights
Lead analytics & research to support the innovation stages from idea generation to concept screening and experimentation.
Lead quarterly insights meetings to ensure bottom-up and top-down intelligence and sharing.
Design and lead experiments based on the project concept and knowledge need requirements
Uncover and explore emerging trends that may lead to growth opportunities through the innovation pipeline.
Serve as the liaison with divisional insights leaders for knowledge shares and data gathering.
Solid grasp of innovation research best practices to develop short/medium/long term strategies for growth

Minimum Required Work Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, economics, statistics or marketing
5-7 years of experience in marketing research / consumer insights / marketing analytics
