Senior Market Research Analyst

Salary: $70,000–$90,000


Global Strategic Research is a strategic advisor to Prudential businesses, delivering actionable insights to inform and shape business decisions that help them achieve their key performance goals. Our mission is to add value to Prudential by providing its businesses and corporate functions with strategic, relevant and actionable insights that are well grounded in business acumen.



The Senior Analyst will work across Global Strategic Research to provide analytical support on specific ongoing and ad hoc projects. Reporting to a Manager of Global Strategic Research, the Senior Analyst will gain wide exposure to Prudential’s businesses and corporate centers.



Responsibilities:

1. Conduct analyses of research and customer data, including using sophisticated, multivariate techniques when appropriate.

2. Integrate findings with secondary research and market trends as appropriate.

3. Create presentations, reports to communicate findings and insights.

4. Participate in development and execution of analysis plans.

Requirements:

· Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.

· Ability to synthesize data and simplify findings to communicate to business partners.

· Expertise with Excel (formulas, macros) and graphical PowerPoint presentations. Knowledge of Tableau or other data visualization programs a plus.

· Strong proficiency in either SPSS or SAS, with working knowledge of statistics (e.g., significance testing, correlation, regression, predictive modeling experience a plus.).

· Strong demonstrated interest in strategic market research, with 1-3 years of experience within the market research industry or a related field. Supplier-side experience a plus.

· Bachelor's or Master’s degree with coursework in statistics, mathematics, social sciences, business, and/or economics.



Competencies Required:

· Highly detailed oriented. Excellent at multi-tasking and working under deadlines.

· Strong organizational and analytical instincts & skills.

· Comfortable with numbers & numerical relationships.

· Strong communication skills with ability to present and explain data in a clear and concise manner.

· Aptitude and willingness to quickly learn new skills and information. Programming aptitude a plus.
