The Senior Associate is a mid-level position designed for individuals with one to two years of healthcare market research experience. The Senior Associate has a passion for marketing, research and healthcare. He or she plays a key role in executing and supporting market research projects that provide strategic insight and value for the pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device industries. The ideal candidate will display the ability to work in a team-based environment, have outstanding organizational and communication skills, strong detail orientation, excellent time management skills, high energy and enthusiasm, and the desire to learn and grow in a dynamic workplace.
This is a partial remote position once person is proficient in assigned responsibilities.
Key Accountabilities
• Execute Research
• Provide project/field updates
• Manage vendor communications
• Prepare data and PowerPoint deliverables
• Contribute to insights generation
• Testing and quality assurance
The Senior Associate will interface directly with internal team members, as well as our clients, to develop and manage quantitative and qualitative marketing research projects by:
• Working with an internal team consisting of researchers, client strategists, and senior management
• Drafting research materials (screeners, surveys and other proprietary survey instruments)
• Exploring and analyzing survey outputs/data
• Collaborating external vendors and moderators to ensure online surveys are programmed accurately
• Translating survey outputs into presentations
• Keeping track of project timelines to ensure deadlines are met
• Documenting and archiving (electronically) all relevant project materials
• Coordinating internal and client calendars for meetings necessary for the project workflow
• Capturing notes and action items from business meetings
• Assisting in the development of project proposals to clients
• Participating alongside senior team members in the presentation of the specific project output
Qualifications
• Four-year college degree in business, psychology, life sciences or other related fields
• Post-graduate degree (e.g., MS, MBA, Ph.D.) in the relevant fields, a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications: Experience in SPSS and/or other leading data tabulation software packages (e.g., WinCross, Q)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence
• Outstanding organizational and communication skills
