Survey Programmer

The Survey Programmer is responsible for programming and testing all aspects of online surveys. This individual will work closely with our client service teams to consult on survey design elements and ensure that client projects are completed on time and budget. This position is client facing and requires providing excellent customer service while managing our clients’ custom quantitative market research projects. The position requires an organized, detail-oriented individual who is able to manage multiple team members/projects, all while meeting demanding deadlines.

•Strong analytical and logic skills
•Knowledge and experience in these computer skills:
•JavaScript / jQuery - a demonstrated knowledge of data structures (i.e. Arrays), understanding of conditions (i.e. if, else if, else), iterations (i.e. loops) and selectors
•HTML / CSS - demonstrated ability to use tables, frames, DIV’s, etc. effectively for placement of content, and content layout consistently across all modern browsers
•Strong, error free markup, and most of all, compliant HTML. Use of "WYSIWYG" programs not sufficient
•Microsoft Office - Able to use Microsoft Excel, and Word efficiently. PowerPoint an asset
•Superior customer focus
•Strong problem-solving skills including an ability to "think outside of the box"
•Proven ability to achieve quality and productivity targets/standards
•Successful in setting and achieving
•Strong communication, interpersonal and team skills
•Knowledge of market research preferred
•Knowledge of Confirmit or Decipher software preferred
•Knowledge of object oriented programming preferred (C++, Java)

•Experience in market research strongly preferred
•Experience in a customer service environment desired
