As a Vice President, Research, Insights and Consulting, you will bring your curiosity and data storytelling to lead research programs that help answer strategic questions for your clients.
This role will be the primary research leader for a key Financial Services account. It involves oversight of both quantitative and qualitative projects, with a focus on Innovation, New Product Development (NPD), Audience Insights, and Customer Journey.
About the Role:
At Savanta, VPs have a highly developed research & insight knowledge as well as management capability. They are expected to manage junior researchers through projects and engage with other senior research leaders on company initiatives and trainings.
A Vice President should possess effective communication skills with clients to instil confidence. Additionally, they need to communicate efficiently within the organization to set expectations for both the team and management.
Collaborate with a stimulating and friendly client group, gain visibility through impactful projects, and work closely with a small team within a larger one led by the SVP.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the execution of quantitative and qualitative projects, ensuring close collaboration and senior involvement.
- Design, interpret, and communicate advanced statistical analyses, including segmentation, conjoint/DCM, max diff, and TURF (not required to run the analysis)
- Create compelling reports that tell a story and visualize data effectively for executive-level presentations.
- Communicate confidently with clients and set expectations internally with the team and management.
- Growing existing accounts and/or growing Savanta’s ability to increase business overall.
Savanta has offices in NYC and Toronto, and this role can be either remote or hybrid within the US, it is most suited to a candidate working East Coast hours.
About You:
- Proven agency experience working in the Financial Services sector, with a track record of driving business impact
- Strong competency in MR methodologies (quant and qual) and data analysis, such as New Product Development, marketing/comms testing, customer journey, segmentation, etc
- Solid leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, nurturing development and foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment
- Strategic and analytical thinker, capable of distilling complex findings into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
- Exceptional report creation skills, with the ability to succinctly tell an executive-level version of the story
- Excellent communication skills, able to develop strong working relationships with senior level clients and internal teams
- Strong presentation skills, with competence to present to senior (C-suite level) audiences, as and when required
