SCOPE OF THE ROLE: 

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of an established and successful market research firm, managing a team across the entire research operations function.

- Responsible for developing, implementing, and tracking KPIs to measure the effectiveness of Research Operations. These include:

1. Operational Efficiency Metrics: Project completion rates, resource utilization, and workflow bottlenecks.
2. Project Profitability: Pricing accuracy, budget adherence, and margin optimization.
3. Business Impact Measurement: Contributions to revenue, cost savings, and client retention.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Has held multiple operations roles at research firms offering custom quantitative and qualitative market research, as well as SaaS data platforms (DIY tools, analytics platforms, real‑time insights, syndicated solutions, etc.).
• Have proven, documented achievements improving efficiency, speed, quality, and cost.
• Experience advancing and tracking KPIs that measure business impact and operational performance.
• Experienced in managing large operations teams across functions such as data processing, programming, field, vendor management, translation services, testing, and charting OE coding.

REQUIREMENTS

• 10+ years working for a market research supplier offering custom market research and SaaS platforms.
• 7+ years in a research operations role with deep ownership of fieldwork.
• Experience working in a tech‑forward, AI‑powered market research organization.
• Demonstrated leadership managing teams, KPIs, and driving process improvements.
• Direct accountability for improving speed, efficiency, cost, and quality across operations.
• Strong vendor negotiation and vendor management background.
• Experience managing large operations teams.

NOTE: This role goes beyond project management, programming, and panel activities; it encompasses the oversight of the entire research operations function.
