We are in search of a Workforce and Business Analytics Consultant to work within the corporate Marketing Department of Kelly Services’ World Headquarters in Troy, MI. The Workforce and Business Analytics Consultant will be responsible for working directly with Sales and Service Operations management and Kelly’s top global customers to provide a broad range of workforce and labor market analytical services.
A partial list of service offerings include:
• Data Mining – identify, collect and analyze workforce & labor market data to identify trends, support targeted recruiting needs, identify cost savings and support client staffing recommendations.
• Optimization – identify, collect and analyze internal and external market data to support client site selection, recruiting and/or market optimization recommendations.
• Statistical Analysis – use a variety of statistical methods (e.g. regression analysis) to quantify relationships between labor market conditions (e.g. impact of raising pay rates on reducing turnover) and support forecasting.
• Model Development – work with internal customers to identify and build models/tools designed to support more quantified staffing recommendations. Package models/tools for use by field organization.
In addition, this position will be responsible for maintaining existing and identifying additional thought leadership information/tools regarding global and regional economic, labor market and staffing market conditions.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelors degree, (MBA preferred) in Finance, Economics, Business, or Math and at least 5-7 years in business/workforce analytics, business model development, advanced data or market analysis experience.
Skills Required:
-Proven experience working w/ senior management; successful client-engagement experience; Consulting and/or B2B service industry experience preferred.
-High level of proficiency using analytical tools (Excel; Access, SAS, SPSS); working knowledge of statistical methods.
-Proven experience identifying and collecting data, methodology development, summarizing findings and delivering results.
-Business model development required; mapping experience a plus.
-Ability to travel as needed.
