Tips for better results

Quirk’s GPT is always growing – new, expert-vetted content is added every week. While the tool is powerful, how you ask your question makes a big difference.

Quirk’s GPT focuses on five main content areas:

  • Case studies
  • Trending industry topics
  • Research techniques and methods
  • Career and job advice
  • Insights team management and leadership
  • (To a lesser extent) Product, company and survey insights

Here are five simple tips to help you get the best answers.

1. Be specific

Vague questions lead to vague answers. Be as clear as possible. Mention your preferred format, tone, language or audience.

Example:
“I’m conducting a survey with children. How can I ensure my sample reflects that audience? Write the response in Spanish.”

2. Provide context

A little background helps a lot. Let Quirk’s GPT know what you're working on.
Example: “I’m conducting a survey with children. How can I ensure my sample truly reflects that audience?”

3. Use relevant keywords

Add industry terms or phrases to guide the AI. Phrases like “marketing research” or “gamification for data collection” help it understand the topic better.

4. Assign a role

Set a role or persona for the AI to tailor the tone or perspective.
Example: “Write this from the point of view of an academic.”

 5. Keep experimenting

AI can’t always read your mind – rephrasing often helps.
Example: “How do I get buy-in for my research at work?” may yield different results than: “How do I get executives to use my research findings more often?”
