As the founder and CEO of Talk Shoppe, Liana has built one of the industry’s most innovative, insight-driven research agencies. Since launching the company in 2010, she has positioned Talk Shoppe as a bespoke strategic partner known for blending cultural intelligence, emotional insight and data-driven storytelling to help brands better understand the people they serve.
As a Cuban American woman, Liana recognized firsthand how often Hispanic consumers were misunderstood or oversimplified in mainstream research. That realization inspired the creation of La Tienda, a groundbreaking insights and strategy group within Talk Shoppe focused on elevating Hispanic voices.
By building a dedicated team focused on Hispanic research, Liana created a practice rooted in cultural fluency, authenticity and inclusive listening. La Tienda helps brands move beyond performative outreach toward meaningful, culturally relevant engagement while challenging outdated narratives around Hispanic consumers. Through this work, Liana continues to reshape the research industry by proving that deeper representation leads to stronger, more impactful insights.
