Empowering Customers to Shape Your Products

Editor's note: Fuel Cycle gave a webinar on April 16, 2020 on giving customers the opportunity to answer questions on products and services. Duration 54:05.

When building anything – a product, service or business – the answers to your questions live in the minds of your customers, partners and users. Your audience is a network filled with expertise, insight and talent. We want to tap into this as efficiently as possible and use it to build stronger relationships and retention! Your customers are the greatest source of learning.

We will also cover how to integrate insight into your existing product development flow.

This presentation will not only focus on gathering this expertise, but also narrow in on how you can build a feedback mechanism so consumers can see the value and rewards of insight’s application.

Key takeaways:

  • Learn how customer feedback can be enormously valuable within the context of product/market fit, onboarding and other key areas of product design. This includes an overview of the benefits and the risks of this kind of feedback.
  • Explore how research and insight can be used to help prioritize new product areas based on consumer patterns, psychological science, market trends and more.
  • Discover how to effectively segment your audience and solicit the most valuable feedback based on need and function. This will ensure you can prioritize the right kind of feature design for your most valuable customers.
  • Learn how to take this customer feedback and input and integrate it into your product development road map.
  • Discover how to create a feedback loop that will enable your customers to see the fruits of their input in your product, be rewarded and develop a closer relationship.
